Tonight: 8:00 p.m. ET policy briefing with special guest Rep. Cedric Richmond

Donna --

Tonight's policy briefing comes at a critical time for our organizing work. Right now, when members of Congress are home for a district work period, we have a unique chance to make our voices heard.

This week, we're focusing on two big issues that have real momentum on Capitol Hill: gun violence prevention and comprehensive immigration reform. We'll give you some updates on the progress we're making on these issues, and how we all can make a difference.

We'll be joined by Congressman Cedric Richmond from Louisiana. He'll talk about the importance of the work we're doing and how it can put pressure on Congress at just the right time in the process. This is a chance for you to hear straight from the source how your work on the ground translates into action in Washington.

Don't miss this -- join the livestream tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time:

You can send any questions ahead of time or during the call to questions@barackobama.com.

Thanks,

Stephanie

Donna --

We've got another policy briefing livestream coming up tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20th -- and this week, we're talking about immigration reform. You should be a part of it.

We'll be joined by a special guest: Eliseo Medina, current International Secretary-Treasurer of the SEIU -- the first Mexican-American to sit on its executive board -- and a long-time organizer on immigration.

OFA staff will be on-hand to fill you in on how you can take action on this issue where you live right now.

You're not going to want to miss this conversation. Comprehensive immigration reform is a priority for our organization and for the President -- and the next few months will be critical to getting the job done. This call is a great chance to make sure you know the facts.

So bookmark this page, and join us here tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20th, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time:

Talk to you then,

Stephanie
